Design
The obverse features Lady Liberty wearing a Native American-style headdress and pearl necklace, with the words "UNITED STATES OF AMERICA" around the edge and the year at the bottom. The reverse shows "ONE CENT" in the middle and a laurel wreath or oak wreath with a shield around the edge.
