An uncirculated clad Philadelphia Mint Washington quarter is a 25-cent coin minted from 1965 onwards that has never been used in commerce and shows no signs of wear. It has a reeded edge, features a portrait of George Washington on the obverse, and the "P" mint mark from the Philadelphia Mint. The "clad" composition is a sandwich of copper between two layers of a 75% copper/25% nickel alloy.
